Gay Muslims

The documentary is about what it means to be british, gay and muslim. The producers of this film have contacted over 200 lesbian and gay muslims around the country but only a few would speak on record about their situation. Anyone who spoke to them – so the producers say – risked persecution from their communites.

In at least five islamic countries, the punishment for being gay is death. Islam considers homosexuality as a sexual perversion. Here you’ll find the first of six parts of the documentary on you tube.
